Biography
Dr. Hooman Sadeh is an Assistant Professor of Construction Management at Utica University. He obtained his Ph.D. in Construction Engineering from Politecnico di Milano in Italy, where his doctoral research centered on the development of a digital information-sharing platform for the construction industry. Before that, he earned a Master of Science degree in Construction Management from California State University, East Bay, and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
Dr. Sadeh’s research interests span digitalization in the construction sector, process improvement, risk management, policy, statistical modeling, and survey design research methods. His work is prominently featured in esteemed peer-reviewed journals like the Journal of Building Engineering, Journal of Construction Engineering and Management, and Engineering, Construction and Architectural Management. Additionally, he has showcased his research at various international conferences. Beyond academia, Dr. Sadeh has garnered substantial industry experience, taking on roles such as Assistant Project Manager and Project Engineer for commercial general contractors and construction management firms.
